Kathy Cantwell

Kathy Cantwell earned a BFA in Painting at CW Post. She is an Artist, Painter and Private Teacher. She specializes in Oil Painting, Geometric Abstractions. She has been represented in NYC thru The Painting Center. Kathy’s work in encaustic and oil has become well-known through a number of solo and group exhibitions, primarily in the New York-New Jersey area as well as Provincetown, Massachusetts. She is a member of The Painting Center in Chelsea for which she has curated a number of shows, and she offers private art instruction. Breaking out of the Northeast Corridor, most recently she has traveled to locations like Taos, New Mexico, and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico where she paints in the company of fellow artists.
